Review of Numbers
This is a general overview of numbers. In this module we will explore natural numbers, integers, rational numbers, real numbers (beyond rationals) and then the number line. The module ends in a review of terms and finally an assessment.
Throughout the module you will find many different ways to explore some familiar mathematical concepts. This exploration is broken into small readings, definitions, exercises, and proofs. The intension is that the reader reads through the readings, and definitions, and works through the examples line by line. The module also includes checkpoints that allow the reader to check their own understanding.
Finally the proof are a deeper look into the mathematical concepts. These can be skipped during a first pass, but they do include additional thoughts and perspective.
One addition note, the exercises, proofs, and checkpoints are all collapsed, and can be expanded by clicking. There is an example of this below.
